For this weeks reading I was quite confused and had to read the article twice and even then I barely understood what it actually meant. The first article that I will talk about is called "Social Design Practices For Human-Scale Online Games" written by Daniel Cook. This article was very interesting as it looked at the psychological aspect of making/ designing a game which is something I have never thought about before. The first thing that I liked about this article was how they talked about how you make friends. I kind of disagree with this a bit as there is so many ways to make friends nowadays and people are so different that you cant generalize them into a few main headings like this article has done.This quote really annoyed me " At higher levels of friendship, there needs to be an opportunity for safe, consensual, intimate sharing of weaknesses".
