The Article that I read was called "Design Considerations"written by Greg Aleknevicus. This was a bit more advanced than needed as it went into how a games box will look and we will not need to worry about that for years to come but it still had some key opponents the will hopefully make a better game designer. I really liked his sentences about making tiles smaller so they don't affect everything around the, This sounds so simple but it is something that I would never have thought about at all until I read this article. I will most certainly use this in my final game as I will be creating a wall or tiles somewhere on my map.
This article really opened up my eyes to disabilities however minor like colour blindness . I am not cooler and dot know anyone cooler blind so I would never think about it but when making my game I will definitely use shapes more so than colours to respect the people who may actually be colour blind themselves. This could actually work out really well for me and as it will lead me to be more creative and not just use too many colours.
Avoiding clutter is something that I highly agree with in this article. I hate games that have so much clutter in them and just have stuff going on that is not necessary. games should be minimal and everything that goes on in them should draw the player in and relate to the overall game concept. when making a game less can be more sometimes and that is something people should remember more.
Overall this article was more advanced than it needed to be for me but I still learned so much about how to support players and how to design a game so you can facilitate for every the of potential user .
