unity tutorial 5

hello guys and welcome back to another blog. today I will discuss how I got on with this weeks unity tutorials. this weeks unity tutorials were actually very fun and taught me so much that I had never even knew before so I was very happy with that I think from now on I am going to focus a lot more on unity as this week I tried to focus on the writing and getting my body paragraphs written but my good that was so stressful . I had very little time to actually do the unity tutorials but I will focus more on them next week. I found the code a lot easier to understand this week and apart from unity crashing twice on me I found it all ok. I am actually impressed at how good I am gutting with unity as I used to hate it so much

You were probably expecting me to fully have my body paragraphs written out b now and I tried but my god I could not find any good quotes that would back up the points I want to say. I wrote loads of it more than most as when I checked most people have done nothing. I did make a good plan for my body paragraphs however I just really struggled finding any quotes to use as all sources I found were crazy complex and I would not be able to write about them. The purpose of the body paragraphs is to logically discuss the synthesis and analysis of the sources. These paragraphs support your thesis that you've been working on so far and present the conclusions you've come to in your research. while this all does sound really good. I legit can only find really complicated sources and I just cant do the.; I am I must say that my research has been enjoyable . unity tutorial 4

welcome back to my blog guys and today I will be attempting the unity tutorial 4 . I have chosen to do the one with code as the VR one looks a bit complicated. these tutorials were fun to preform but they did cause me a lot of challenges which I will go into in this blog.                                                                     Lesson 2.1 Player Positioning  this lesson was very interesting. it started with getting us to create another new project.  I found it very fun when we started adding in animals as it was something that I have never attempted before but I actually got the hang of pretty quickly which surprised me a lot.  step 4 was very hard as I kept missing the place to declare a public float but after I found that the rest of code fell into place.  overall this tutorial was more advanced than anything I have ever attempted in the past but once I broke it down and took my time the code actually started working.

Hello guys and welcome back to my blog. For today's reading we had to continue from the research we were doing last week but thew difference was we had to a pply thematic analysis  to your resources and group common themes this week.   The first thing I did was read all the steps very carefully. I liked how it went into detail in discursive writing as that is something I am very passionate about, I used to have a blog years ago when I would be discursive and discuss manchester united games but I gave that up . I completely agree with the point about supporting your argument with evidence as if you do not how is anyone going to trust that what you said is credible  summaries to me are vital , I sometimes read the summary of an article first and that usually gives me a good outlook on if this article will be worth reading or not. today I went and found more resources online which I will add to my matrix. unity tutorial 2

ok so we are back to unity yaah. Last term I really struggled on unity and to be honest I did not give it a fair shot. Game design or anything to do with games is my most hated part of this and I know for a fact that I will not go into this industry ever but I willing to try unity more this semester and who knows I might end up enjoying it a little. I can't hate it anymore than I already do . For this semester we had two options obviously I chose the first option "create with code as I am not very skilled in unity yet and would like to improve". the tutorial today was pretty crazy long and I did not expect it to take like 3 hours so I will have to give myself more time next week to do it fully.  the first few steps were very basic I just had to Crete folders, name them and import a few assists after the easy work was finished I finally started something a little challenging.  adding a vehicle was difficult as for some reason it wouldn't open for ages but I finally

hello everyone so For this week we had to research more on our chosen topics, we  had to research and look into it a good bit more and write down our main ideas on Microsoft excel which you can see below. I struggled with understanding this matrix but this is only the very start I hope to add this this most days. I found that the planning stage I did last week actually helped me immensely when doing this research. I have got about 5 articles now that are I like. I will hopefully try get some books from the library on my topics soon.  at the beginning I got really put off by the crazy wording of all this but once I cleared my head and broke it down fully I got a grasp on it(I think). I looked up different articles about it on  Google scholar and TU Dublin's archives and I found a lot of more then I though I ever would .I will go way more in depth with my research in the coming weeks but I am really impressed at how well I have done so far and how many great usable

Welcome back to my blog guys. I was kind of hoping there would be no bogs to do this term at all as they were pretty stressful last semester but I will get on with it and give it my best shot. This module actually sounds very interesting and I ma excited to keep researching and adding to my parts of the book. I spent way over 3 hours doing research for this. My two chosen topics are key components of game design and stages of game design. these are two topics that kind of excite me and make me want to dive into these blogs head first. the first thing I did was list all the who, what ,why ,where and when. these questions actually really helped me get a focus on what I was researching these are my answers who- I started my who by finding all about the people behind the games, I found out that first game was made in 1972 and it was all very interesting what- for the what part I went into detail about  what are the key elements in games . in my opinion a story and good visuals are t
