growth and mindset

for today's blog post I decided to do the extra credit growth and mindset challenge. I then watched a video on sleep deprivation and it has really opened up my eyes to a lot of things. I usually get at least 6 hours of sleep each night as I need to sleep so I can be focused in college and in the gym.

I have hated that sleep maws a thing as we are only alive 90 years max and over half of that is just wasted asleep. you could really accomplish so much more in your life if you did not need to sleep but you do and I cant change that. I loved the animations in this video and the way it opened by explaining what happened to one guy who stayed awake for 3 days straight.  most adults need 7-8 hours sleep per night and I can guarantee most do not get that at all or even near that. it stated 66% of american adolescents are sleep deprived. that is a pretty scary number if you think about it fully.
I never knew strokes were linked to not sleeping. that is kind of scary and made me want to sleep more.

Overall this video has opened up my eyes to the side effects not sleeping can have and although I really feel like my life may be wasted by sleeping I will definitely prioritize it more than ever before now .

prototype

Over the past week I have had so many assignments to submit and with the blogs we have to do each week I have not have had much time to work on my game in unity. I have been watching the two tutorials that I linked in my previous game idea and I have drawn up a few prototypes on sheets of paper. By next week I hope to have a good bit of my game complete to show you. I am happy with the vision for my game. My level is not going to be very complicates as I find if I add too much into it that it will just become confusing and I will not be able to complete it. I want my final game to hopefully be fully complete . Everything in my game is going good except for the fact that unity is limited and its hard to customise weapons, characters and other things as you are very limited by the options it has on it. that is a screenshot from the tutorial I am using . for my game there is a lot I still have to consider. I have to try add in sound efects but not ones that sound really bad and

for this post I will attempt the extra credit growth and mindset task. I read  "this article " . this article was very interesting altogether. i completely agree that being graded in school can be very emotional on certain people and can hurt a persons confidence. I agree that not everyone who gets top marks can be unhappy with them as they do not understand why it was so easy and there is usually a huge divide between the top and bottom people in the class from their grades. grades can be a good way to control students like it says in this article but overall they just cause arguments between students and make people who just cant get the top marks ever even if they studied for days feel really bad about themselves. I like the teacher who set up meetings with them this should benefit the students and make them feel more comfortable in the class. overall this extra credit article was very interesting to read and has changed my view on all things to do with gradings in schoo
