growth and mindset

for today's blog post I decided to do the extra credit growth and mindset challenge. I then watched a video on sleep deprivation and it has really opened up my eyes to a lot of things. I usually get at least 6 hours of sleep each night as I need to sleep so I can be focused in college and in the gym.

I have hated that sleep maws a thing as we are only alive 90 years max and over half of that is just wasted asleep. you could really accomplish so much more in your life if you did not need to sleep but you do and I cant change that. I loved the animations in this video and the way it opened by explaining what happened to one guy who stayed awake for 3 days straight.  most adults need 7-8 hours sleep per night and I can guarantee most do not get that at all or even near that. it stated 66% of american adolescents are sleep deprived. that is a pretty scary number if you think about it fully.
I never knew strokes were linked to not sleeping. that is kind of scary and made me want to sleep more.

Overall this video has opened up my eyes to the side effects not sleeping can have and although I really feel like my life may be wasted by sleeping I will definitely prioritize it more than ever before now .
this is the video that I watched

As you should already know I am doing the create with code side of unity this term and I really want improve my overall game coding skills. I am happy with progress so far but I still have a long way to go.                                                 Sound and effects The first tutorial was actually pretty easy but it was really enjoyable. I had tried to add in sound effects to my final game last semester but it failed badly . this tutorial really simplified the process of adding audio to a game and made it actually really easy to follow.  I really enjoyed the quiz at the end of this tutorial even though I got one answer wrong which annoyed me a bit .                         ...

Hello guys and welcome back to my blog. For today's reading we had to continue from the research we were doing last week but thew difference was we had to a pply thematic analysis  to your resources and group common themes this week.   The first thing I did was read all the steps very carefully. I liked how it went into detail in discursive writing as that is something I am very passionate about, I used to have a blog years ago when I would be discursive and discuss manchester united games but I gave that up . I completely agree with the point about supporting your argument with evidence as if you do not how is anyone going to trust that what you said is credible  summaries to me are vital , I sometimes read the summary of an article first and that usually gives me a good outlook on if this article will be worth reading or not. today I went and found more resources online which I will add to my matrix. I...

This module actually sounds very interesting and I ma excited to keep researching and adding to my parts of the book. I spent way over 3 hours doing research for this. My two chosen topics are key components of game design and stages of game design. these are two topics that kind of excite me and make me want to dive into these blogs head first. the first thing I did was list all the who, what ,why ,where and when. these questions actually really helped me get a focus on what I was researching these are my answers who- I started my who by finding all about the people behind the games, I found out that first game was made in 1972 and it was all very interesting what- for the what part I went into detail about  what are the key elements in games . in my opinion a story and good visuals a...
